On july 21, 1998, a friend conducted a welfare check on lori wheatley at her residence and found her dead in her home. Lori had been beaten and strangled to death after some type of physical altercation with the suspect(s) and suffered blunt force trauma inside her home. Due to the fact there was no evidence of forced entry, it appears lori know her attacker. There were no witnesses but a 911 call 3 days prior to her death had reported a loud noise and possible prowler in the area. No one has ever come forward with an explanation as to what may have led to lori's death.Agency
