The richmond police department has identified the victim of wednesday’s homicide in the mosby court community as levell v. Everett, jr., 26, of the 1900 block of betner court, sandston, va. At approximately 2:28 a.M. On wednesday, july 3, first precinct officers responded to the 1900 block of redd street after they heard gunfire in the area. When police arrived, they found everett down behind a vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Everett later succumbed to his injuries. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Several vehicles in the area were damaged by gunfire, but no other injuries were reported.
