On july 13, 1995, the colorado springs police department was notified of a person slumped over the steering wheel of his running vehicle in the parking lot off of academy boulevard. When officers arrived, they found randolph lebeau unconscious, with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Lebeau was transported to memorial hospital where he remained in a coma until he succumbed to his injuries on july 30, 1995. The investigation into his death remains open.
