The richmond police department has identified the juvenile victim of last night’s homicide on accommodation street as j-mari r. Saunders, 17, of the 1900 block of accommodation street. At approximately 7:02 p.M. Yesterday, officers responded to the 2000 block of accommodation street for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, police found j-mari saunders suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transferred to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Saunders succumbed to his injuries several hours later. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.Agency
