Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide that occurred on mechanicsville turnpike on tuesday as terrell hancock, 24, of chesterfield. On tuesday at approximately 12:45 a.M., officers responded to the sound of gunfire in the 1500 block of mechanicsville turnpike. Once on scene, officers located an adult male, hancock, down and unresponsive on a walkway at the front of a building. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.Agency
