28 year old joseph william sheets was the victim of a homicide on september 19, 1987. He was found in the buck springs area of rural wasatch county. Sheets was reported to be driving to colorado from salt lake city at the time his body was discovered. Sheets died as a result of several gunshot wounds to his body at the time, sheets was traveling in his green, 1975 ford ltd wagon. This vehicle has never been located.
