On november 10, 1995, 96 year old marjorie mock, resident of the citadel village apartments, was found with fatal blunt force trauma wounds. On september 6, 1995, the colorado springs police department found 86 year old ms. Rosa desalvo, also a resident of the citadel village apartments, who also suffered from blunt force trauma. Due to the age of the victim's, location and similar injuries it is believed these two homicides may be related. The investigation into their deaths remains open.
