On july 8, 1976, the denver police and fire departments responded to the connection bar at the intersection of alameda avenue and south zuni street, to a structure fire. 28 year old camilo roys jr. Was one of two bodies found inside that died due to smoke inhalation. Mr. Roys was a member of the band that performed at the bar.
