Victim and a friend were walking in the 3400 block of w. Dakota when a vehicle approached them. The victim and his friend began exchanging words with the occupants of the vehicle. Then the vehicle started to drive off. As it did, shots were fired from the passenger side of the vehicle. One of the fired shots struck the victim. Paramedics transported the victim to denver health medical center where he died as a result of his injuries.Agency
