On the morning of july 6, 2016 at about 6 am a person walking their dog found robert mitchell jr. Dead in the park at 455 lagrange ave. There were obvious signs that fire was lit in an attempt to burn evidence. Investigators believe that mr. Mitchell was hanging out at the monroe ave bars the evening before his death. He was last seen walking in front of o'callaghans pub. Investigators also believe that mr. Mitchell was murdered somewhere else and dropped of at the park after he was killed.
