On january 25, 1981, 16 year old cindy cook was found dead near the intersection of cold springs drive and current day village parkway, in the cold springs valley, north of reno, nevada. She was a short distance from the roadway in the sagebrush. The victim had last been seen hitch hiking from her home in lemmon valley en route to an arcade in the lemmon valley shopping center, on january 24, 1981. Cindy's purse was located later some distance away from where her body had been found.Agency
