David and a friend went to a house party being held near the intersection of east harvard avenue and south sherman street. During the course of the evening, an argument ensured between david's friend and some other individuals in attendance at the party. As a result, david decided to leave the party. While david was outside with his friend, a car-load of the individuals who were involved in the disturbance drove by and shot in the direction of david and his friend.
