On november 23, 1974 jesse cox was discovered by witnesses on the roadway near montview blvd and n.Eagle st., he was transported to fitzsimons army medical center. Mr. Cox passed away a short time after reaching the emergency room. The case was initially investigated as an on-roadway/auto-pedestrian hit-and-run, all follow-up is geared off the initial investigation. Although the death certificate indicates death by motor vehicle, medical reports indicate the victim was not struck by a motor vehicle but succumbed to blunt force trauma to the head. The case was reclassified as a homicide on october 22, 2010. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to contact the aurora police department.Agency
