On february 1, 1995 about 5:00 p.M., inmate mack young walked past a cell and appeared to be having problems breathing. Another inmate summoned aid. Young was taken to the hospital where he died as a result of a puncture wound to his lung. The wound appeared to have been made by a shank. Young failed to identify his attacker(s) while conscious and able to do so. Mack young was a maryland division of correction inmate housed in dorm h at the maryland house of correction.Agency
