On wednesday, september 25, 2019 at approximately 1:15 a.M., columbus police officers were called to the rear of the mcdonald's restaurant located at 2520 south hamilton road on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an injured male, lying between the drive-thru ordering stations, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Cfd medic 823 responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 28yr old zachary hoeft, to mt. Carmel east hospital in critical condition. At 1:49 a.M., mr. Hoeft succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians.Agency
