In the early morning hours of june 5, 1988 the colorado springs police department was notified of a deceased female in the north alley of west colorado avenue. The deceased female was later identified as 24 year old, mary lynne vialpando. The investigation revealed mary was last seen by her husband, his brother and sister-in-law in the early morning hours of june 5, 1988. All four had attended a wedding in pueblo and eventually returned to colorado springs. Mary was last seen running away from her house on west kiowa street.
