On february 19, 1987, 44 year old janice currie and walter marshall were asleep inside their northeast denver residence, located near east 26th avenue and milwaukee street, when an unknown person(s) entered their home. During the course of the burglary, the intruder(s) confronted and stabbed janice and walter to death. After the stabbing the suspect(s) set the house on fire and fled the scene.
