On september 21st, 1991 at 4:00 am, helen simmons pulled up to the corner of n. 20th st and w. Hadley st. And parked her car. She began walking west on the sidewalk of w. Hadley st. When an unknown subject shot multiple times at helen, striking her. Witnesses located helen and called for help. Firefighters arrived shortly after and they transported the victim to the hospital where she was pronounced dead from her injuries. Helen was 31 years old at the time of her death.Agency
