At approximately 6:40 a.M. On december 31, 2003, individuals delivering newspapers heard multiple gunshots in the area of n. Missouri avenue and n. Mason street. Shortly after, they discovered the victim, 16-year-old african-american male, aaron prasad-king, shot in the alley between n. Missouri and n. Michigan avenue, just south of n. Mason street. Mr. Prasad-king was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries on the morning of january 2, 2004. Witnesses reported seeing an unidentified individual wearing dark clothing run east on n. Shaver across michigan shortly after hearing gunshots.
