Info

On tuesday, may 9, 2000, at approximately 11:10 a.M., kenisha dixon was inside of her apartment alone when an unknown individual knocked on her door. Kenisha answered the door and without provocation was immediately shot. Kenisha fell to the ground fatally wounded and was pronounced dead at the scene. It was apparent that kenisha feared for her safety because she had answered the door with a gun in hand. Evidence recovered at the scene included a handgun found lying in close proximity to her. Kenisha had only moved into this apartment two months earlier and did not have a boyfriend. However, a male room-mate did live with her and was the one who claimed ownership of the recovered handgun.
