During the evening of january 15th, 1983, 24 year old russell clark and his wife of just a few months were within their central denver residence when a noise was heard at their door. Due to the lateness of the hour, russell answered the door. It was at this point that russell was confronted by an unknown male. A physical altercation immediately transpired at which time russell was shot to death by the intruder. Prior to his death, russell worked at the brown palace hotel in downtown denver.
