On or about april 1988, 19 year old shannon maclean was hitchhiking, with a friend on broadway in denver. The women got a ride from a white man, in his early 30's, chubby build, 5'10", brown hair, with a mustache and yellowing teeth. He was driving a brown station wagon with the word "Laguna" on the dash and a "Fish naked" bumper sticker. The friend was dropped off and that was the last time she saw shannon maclean. Maclean's body was found three months later near highway 285 and surrey road in jefferson county.
