On august 8, 2020, at approximately 10:28pm, patrol officers were dispatched on a shotspotter alert of 8 shots, in the area of 2077 joyce avenue. Officers discovered a vehicle stopped in the area of maynard avenue, just west of joyce avenue, with one occupant suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Mifflin township medic 132 responded and transported 27yr old marquis talley to an undisclosed hospital in extremely critical condition.
