Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in thursday night’s homicide on midlothian turnpike as ja’shawn pressley, a male in his late teens. At approximately 8:05 p.M. On thursday, november 5, officers responded to the 6800 block of midlothian turnpike for the report of a person shot. Once on scene, they found ja’shawn pressley inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.Agency
