Sedric gillespie was inside of his vehicle that was parked in the 2200 block of olive street, a residential neighborhood located in northeast denver. During this time another vehicle pulled up next to sedric gillespie's vehicle. Multiple shots were then fired into sedric gillespie's vehicle by unknown suspect(s) within this secondary vehicle. Sedric gillespie was struck by the gunfire and unfortunately died at the scene. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of sedric gillespie have yet to be identified.
