Joan cook was first reported missing by friends on january 29, 2010. Police contact was made with her husband, mike cook, who advised joan had left their residence on foot the night of january 24, 2010. On january 31, 2010, mike cook came to the roanoke county police department to report his wife missing. Joan has not been seen or heard from since january 2010 and is still a missing person.
