On the evening of january 18, 1980 24-year-old daniel ellwanger was working his job at hamilton cab company. At about 11:00 pm he was sent to pick up a fare on gregory st. That was the last time he was heard from. At about 7:00 am ellwanger was found shot to death in his cab on lincoln ave. After dropping off his fare in what was believed to be a robbery. Investigators tracked down many leads over the last several decades, unfortunately none leading to the identity of his killer.Agency
