On march 08, 2003, a person snowshoeing discovered the remains of a hispanic male now identified as luis "Carlos" mireles-quezada, known as "Guero" to his friends. The victim was discovered in a frozen state in the snow near mile marker 9 off the mount rose highway. The victims body was discovered off the roadway, approximately 1/4 mile up-hill from a turnout, which is located just below the mount rose summit on the reno side. The 29 year old victim, who was a concrete worker, was last heard from in early january 2003. The victim was found fully clothed wearing a green jacket, dark blue v-neck pull over short sleeve, blue jeans and red and white nike "Air" tennis shoes.Agency
