The victim was reported missing to the larimer county sheriff's office in 2003. The victims vehicle was discovered on december 28, 2003 at the park in ride located at highway 34 and I-25. Blood was discovered in the trunk of the vehicle. On january 13, 2004, the remains of daniel larson were discovered in a field near weld county road 388 and weld county road 59.
