On 08/14/2016, 49yr old robert gnizak was shot while attempting to protect his friend who was being robbed. Robert was being given a ride home from work by a female friend. They stopped at taco bell to get some food on the way home. Robert has difficulty seeing and exited the vehicle to look at the menu in the drive-thru. While he was out of the car, a black male approached the passenger side of the car and demanded money from the female driver at gun point. Robert came to the aid of his friend and was shot by the suspect. The suspect then searched the vehicle for money before fleeing on foot.Agency
