On november 15, 1983, 2 year old leopoldo "Polo" gomez was brought to the emergency room of a local denver hospital for a traumatic injury. During leopoldo gomez's brief hospitalization, he died. An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be from blunt force trauma. The death was investigated as a homicide.
