On september 22, 1995, officers responded to the southeast parking lot of prairie middle school on the report of a body. The victim was discovered, a white male, on his back in the parking lot to the rear of the school. The victim appeared to have numerous bruises to his forehead, face and head. A tri-fold wallet was observed lying open on top of the victim's right shoulder and nearby was his colorado identification card. Investigation revealed the victim, an alcoholic, was last seen on september 21, 1995 at approximately 8:00 p.M., when his brother drove him to the buckingham square movie theaters. He was not seen again until his body was discovered the next morning. A number of classmates and previous friends contacted during the investigation indicated due to his alcoholism they had distanced themselves from him. On october 19, 1995 information was received regarding a possible suspect. Follow-up is geared in that direction. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the aurora police department.
