On monday, january 1, 2001 at approximately 2:30 a.M., coy lyman curtis was shot while driving southbound near 6500 n. Black canyon highway. A white pick-up truck was seen driving alongside the victim’s vehicle in the center of 3 main lanes of traffic. The victim’s vehicle swerved to the right and crashed into a west retaining wall before coming to a stop; the victim later died at a local hospital.
