On 01/10/2017 at 2046 hours officers were dispatched to 12 and paseo on a reported shooting. Upon arrival they observed a black vehicle with the passenger side-door open, engine running and facing northbound. The victim, donald coty jr., was located in the driver's seat and appeared to have been shot. He died at the scene. A second occupant of the vehicle was believed to have also been shot and fled the scene on foot. Det. Scott mullen is the case detective and he can be reached at 816-234-5336.Agency
