On sunday morning, july 29th, 1973 members of the denver police department were called to the area of east colfax avenue and detroit street on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, later identified as 27 year old adair dotson, shot to death. Mr. Dotson was found within the parking lot of the apartment complex located on the 1400 block of detroit street. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of adair dotson were never identified.
