On the afternoon of march 3, 1986, on the 2300 block of emerson street, 38 year old thomas lockhart jr. Was involved in a verbal argument with an unknown suspect. The dispute escalated to a physical confrontation and thomas lockhart jr. Was stabbed during the scuffle. The suspect fled the area prior to the arrival of police. Thomas lockhart jr. Was immediately transported from the scene to a local hospital, but died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
