On september 7, 2015 at approximately 12:02 a.M., 35-year-old iris spiller was discovered to be the victim of a homicide at an extended stay apartment complex located in the 5600 block of south boulder highway. Spiller was with two other people in the parking lot when the group was approached by two african american males with firearms. An argument ensued and the two males shot spiller and another person. Spiller died at the scene. The suspects are described as african american males wearing dark clothing and fled in an unknown make model silver vehicle.
