Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in last night’s homicide as kenneth cooper, jr., 27, of richmond. Last night at approximately 7:09 p.M., rpd officers responded to the 2900 block of hanes avenue for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and located an adult male, cooper, jr, with an apparent gunshot wound down and unresponsive in the alley. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine manner and cause of death.Agency
