At approximately 7:30 p.M., on july 23, 1998, the body of an unidentified male was discovered in the desert area, east of the bramblewood mobile home park, by a resident of the park. Homicide investigators responded and determined the victim had been beaten. The subsequent autopsy determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma. The clark county coroner's office identified the victim as gary wayne hayse. There were no witnesses ever located and no one has ever come forward with an explanation as to what may have led to gary's death.Agency
