On september 23, 2000, at 2:02 p.M., officers responded to the area just outside of the montview bar and grill, on the report of a fight. Several individuals had been involved in a fight and the victim, jose avila morales was found unconscious on the street. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of jose avila morales have yet to be identified.
