At approximately 12:47 am, an unidentified african-american man approached the couple and demanded money. When mr. Williams resisted, he was pushed back and shot once. Jason williams has been described as a pleasant person who worked hard. He was not a known gang member and was not known to be involved in drugs. He may have been mistaken as a gang member.
