On the evening of february 8th, 1981 members of the denver fire department responded to the xv logan apartments on a report of a structure fire. After the fire was extinguished, emergency crews located leroy perez along with two other victims deceased inside of the apartment. Leroy perez was only nine days old at the time of his death. During a follow-up investigation, the fire was classified as arson. The suspect(s) responsible for the death of leroy perez remain unknown.Agency
