On november7, 1979 at 2:13 am, officers were called to the area of nabbs creek road near locust grove road for a report of a man found lying in the roadway and a bicycle nearby. The victim was identified as 18 year old leroy shannon. The incident was initially investigated as a hit and run accident. The autopsy revealed the cause of mr. Shannon’s death was trauma to the upper body with the manner being homicide.Agency
