On january 4, 2021, a murder was reported in the 500 block of ferris avenue. Dietric harrington was shot several times in the roadway in front of 550 and 540 ferris avenue. This block had recently been the scene of several violent felonies, most likely over physical possession of 546 ferris avenue. Spent shell casings recovered from the scene were all fired from the same handgun. So far no witnesses or suspects have been identified.Agency
