Richmond police department detectives have identified the victim in yesterday’s homicide in the east end as jayvon coward, a male in his 20’s. Yesterday at approximately 5:55 p.M., officers were called to the 1300 block of coalter street for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found coward suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital yesterday where he succumbed to his wounds.
