On march 2, 2019, at approximately 11:21 p.M., columbus police officers were summoned to the area of 555 s. Eureka avenue on the report of several people fighting. Upon arrival, officers found several people at the scene, including the victim, suffering from varying degrees of injuries. Cfd medic 817 arrived at the scene and treated most of the victims for minor injuries; however one victim, later identified as 56yr old keith allen monroe, was transported to grant medical center in stable condition. After some time, mr. Monroe's condition continued to deteriorate and eventually he was diagnosed with a severe head injury requiring surgery. Mr. Monroe's condition failed to improve and on march 18, 2019, he was pronounced deceased by attending physicians at 12:42 p.M.Agency
