On may 8, 2019, at approximately 2:25 a.M., columbus police officers were summoned to the area of 807 fairwood avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim, inside a parked vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Cfd medic 15 arrived at the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 23yr old marquise antwaun lanier, to grant medical center in extremely critical condition. On may 8, 2019 at approximately 2:56 a.M., mr. Lanier succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at grant medical center by attending physicians.Agency
