On august 4, 2017, at approximately 1:52 a.M., columbus police officers were called to 735 doulton court on the report of shots fired. At approximately 2:02 a.M.. A second call was received by police stating that there was a shooting victim lying in the hallway near the front of the apartment building. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 22yr old cody virgil nichols, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Cfd medic 12 arrived at the scene and pronounced mr.
