Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in monday’s shooting in hillside court as jay’quan royster, 19, of richmond. On monday at approximately 7:04 p.M., royster, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, was being driven in a personal vehicle to a local hospital when the driver flagged down a richmond fire department vehicle and requested assistance. After initial treatment, royster was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury.Agency
