On 08-04-2017, officers responded to the area of 51st and college ave on reported dead body. It was determined the deceased person had been at the location for a period of time. Family members of a missing person were at the scene and gave us the name of carrie blewett. We were able to identify the deceased person as carrie blewett who had been missing since july 2017. The victim was last seen with someone in the area of 51st and college on the morning of july 15th, 2017. Anyone with information regarding this homicide, please contact det.
